In autumn the most anticipated device seems to be the latest generation of Apple smartphone. iPhone 5 is about to be launched on September 21 and analysts expect Apple to sell from 6 to 10 million units till the end of the month.

According to various reports the Jobs’ company is able to sell from 26 to 28 million of various devices including the Apple iPhone 5 September launch. Gene Munster, analyst from Piper Jaffray, says that iPhone 5 will help the company to raise its profits during September and gain higher revenue than it was estimated. As it was announced, Apple’s sales were quite slow and made up about 22-23 million through the quarter.

Apple fell in Wall Street estimates the last quarter reporting revenue of $35 billion and $8.8 billion in share, as it had been expected about $37 billion of earnings and over $10 share revenue. Analytics were concerned if the company’s losses were influenced by macroeconomic situation or people were just waiting for the newest Apple iPhone 5 coming up.

For now customers already look for selling their older generations of Apple smartphones, which obviously can mean that they are preparing to buy the fifth version during the next month. Such online traders as NextWorth, eBay Instant Sale, and Gazelle have already noticed the growth of visitors that are about to sell their iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. Today prices on older versions are around $277, but the day iPhone 5 will be launched it could lower to $100-$90 for a unit. Anthony Scarsella, Gazelle’s chief gadget officer, expects the prices to go down sharply after September 12.
