Not so long ago, iTunes was meant to be paired with an iPod, the setup was quite simple and the software was great. Until the music store was added, then videos, then Audiobook, and now applications. What was a simple setup then, has now officially hit overload especially with more advanced gadgets such as iPhones and iPads.

The first rumors of a possible physical Apple controller hitting the market appeared in March 2013, when it was announced that Apple planned to unveil the device during an iPad-centered event. The rumor itself is quite old, emerging in 2008 after Apple filed a patent plea for a dock, adding physical controls and some other hardware features to iOS. According to Glen Yeung with Citi, demand for the iPhone 5 and iPad 4 is gradually decreasing. Basing his suggestions on reduced component orders for Apple’s latest handset and tablet models, the analyst has dropped his iPhone sales estimates for the ongoing March quarter from the previously projected 35 million to 34 million units. To compare, Wall Street expects Apple to sell around 37 million iPhones. For the June quarter, Yeung has reiterated his initial 25 million target, which is lower than Wall Street’s estimate of 32 million units.

The publication was unable to provide any details on the future iPhone, saying that it remains unclear whether Apple will build the wireless charging capability directly into the device or provide it via attached accessories. However, its sources did mention that the technology will be developed internally by the iPhone maker.
