In an attempt to reduce the number of software patent battles that have flooded the courtrooms around the world, the International Telecommunications Union has called the companies involved in ongoing lawsuits to discuss the situation at the “Patent Roundtable.” The summit is slated for October 10th and will be held in Geneva.
