Some of the customers who recently purchased a Mac and are seeking to upgrade to Mountain Lion via Apple’s OS X Up-to-Date program have been unable to do that, with an error message warning them that their redemption code has already been used. While receiving a redemption code itself wasn’t a problem, users couldn’t get it validated. The issue has been spotted all across the globe and discussed in a number of growing threads on the Apple Support Communities forums in the U.S., U.K., Australia, China and other countries.
